i want to be the 100th monkey!

OK, all you have to do is be one of the first 100 humans to purchase a MONKEY TILE.  These tiles (which could be just about any art medium) cost a pitiful $3 each and if you draw the monkey  lucky number you will host the next party!

YIKES!  what would I do if I actually WON?

Work with sue to provide entertainment volunteers. The entertainment is offered in the spirit of community building - and cannot involve a commercial intent:  no selling of any kind nor can a hat be passed for donations.  THAT IS ALL - NO YOU DON'T DO LIGHTING, STAGE, SING, DANCE. Oh yes, and stick stamps on postcards one night with Sue at her house.

Past entrainment have been: a didjeridoo concert, a 16 piece swing band for dancing, a Burning Man slide show, a poetry reading by Luke Smiraldo, a classical music woodwinds concert, a 20 minute film showing six local artists by David Derickson, a trumpet performance by Kevin Meersman, rock and roll music and vocals by Angie Jossy, visual art display by Leona, and the Tacoma School of the Arts students.

The winning host is encouraged to investigate the scheduled venue for appropriateness in regards to the intended entertainment.  They must also provide all necessary props, lights, costumes, stage, sound system, and rehearsal.  There are NO funds for reimbursement.

Help with mailing, set up, tear down, and be a good host, mingle and party hard. Provide two volunteers working one hour each during the party as greeters.

You do not select the party location. There is no budget, no person involved is paid or reimbursed - this generosity forms the spirit of community building in it's purist form.
